Ok, so electronic music isn’t really my thing..  I mean, I do listen to it (to write, to daydream, to chair dance while at work sometimes) but I very seldom ever review or write about it. However, here I am writing and reviewing a new song from Howard, called Plastic.

From the moment I heard this single, it caught my attention.. that toe tapping, feel good in the pit of my belly sort of tune that perked my ears up and set my imagination wandering. Partly was the thought, ‘who are these guys Howard, and why would anyone name their song Plastic?’

Looked them up, found out their new 5 track EP is called Please Recycle. It’s due out March 25 with an album release party in New York, and the first single was aptly called Glass (sounds just like you think it should with that title!). Other tracks include Paper, Metal and Waste.

Composed of Howard Feibusch (guitar, vocals), Myles Heffernan (bass), Chris Holdridge (drums), and Alex Chakour (guitar, synth, backup vocals), Howard are in the midst of a North American tour now, supporting Bronze Radio Return, which includes SXSW, but unfortunately no Vancouver date.
