Local beach rock icon, Daniel Wesley will be at the Commodore Ballroom on April 29 in support of his latest album, I Am Your Man. If you were lucky enough to be at his last show there (as I was), you will likely already be going again, as you know how good the show will be. If you weren’t at that show, lucky for you it was recorded. Pickup Live at the Commodore Ballroom and listen to it over a couple of beers on your patio. You won’t be disappointed…well, not in the music anyways. The patio right now might be a different story – you might want to wait ’til summer for that part.
A hometown show is always an event and Daniel Wesley is extremely proud of his local heritage and ensures he puts on a great show for his local hardcore fans. He’ll be tuning up in Victoria the night before, so should be in perfect form for the Vancouver show. He also doesn’t leave for the Alberta leg of his tour for a couple weeks yet, so he should have nothing preventing him from doing a nice long show with a great party atmosphere. You should kick your spring/summer off right with a beach party at the Commodore Ballroom. I’ll be there and you should, too!
