Trombone Shorty to Play Burnaby Blues and Roots Fest

Bandleader, sideman, and multi-instrumentalist Trombone Shorty and his band Orleans Avenue are coming to Burnaby this August to headline the Burnaby Blues and Roots Festival held in Deer Lake Park. The festival performance is a part of a larger tour to promote Trombone Shorty’s new album Parking Lot Symphony, which came out this April. If you are a fan of Jazz, Funk or Hip Hop and you feel like you should get out to a music festival this summer, this is the perfect show for you.

The one-day Burnaby Blues Festival has been going strong for 18 years and will be returning on August 12th with great music on two stages, food, and many other activities. The gates open at 12:00 pm and the music starts at 1:00 pm.
