Grab your bestie and get ready! The Sam Roberts Band is touring!
Announced this morning by Sam Roberts Band and Live Nation, SRB is bringing their new album Terraform (along with all the old favourites) to a venue near you. Tickets go on sale to general public Friday 10am, but you can get in on the Live Nation Thursday Presale (starting at noon), using the code ‘EILEEN’, and if you want to try for it, you can win your way in on various radio station contests including CFOX Morning Show with Jeff O’Neil (but best to still buy a ticket! if you win, bring two friends!)
Tour dates start in November in Sherbrooke, and run into February 2017 with a stop at Vancouver’s Orpheum Feb. 7, as well as a short jump over the border, Feb 8 at the Tractor Tavern (what a place!), and Portland Feb. 9, 2017.
In March of 2016, Sam Roberts Band holed themselves up at the Bathouse, The Tragically Hip’s studio near Kingston, Ontario to record their sixth full-length album. They went in with the lake still covered by ice and emerged 4 weeks later, in the first days of spring, bearing with them new music… TerraForm set for release October 28.
