The East Coast Music Awards are held yearly to celebrate and honor Canada’s East Coast musicians and bands. This year’s event was held in Moncton. Much like the West Coast Music Awards, it runs for the weekend and includes free performances and seminars as well as the actual awards ceremony.
This year, The Trews were nominated for more than a few categories including:
- Bell Aliant Fan’s Choice Entertainer of the Year
- Bell Aliant Fan’s Choice Video of the Year for Hope and Ruin
- Group Recording of the Year -Hope and Ruin
- Rock Recording of the Year – Hope and Ruin
- Song of the Year – Hope and Ruin
The Trews walked away this year with Rock Recording of the Year – a hearty congrats to one of our favorite groups!
