Camila Cabello is kicking off her “Never Be the Same” world tour right here at The Orpheum in Vancouver tonight. The sold-out show will certainly have them dancing in the aisles as the rising Cuban-American songstress performs massive dance club hits such as “Havana”, which reached number one on the pop charts in several countries. Her decision to go solo from X-Factor supergroup Fifth Harmony is paying dividends; along with hit singles she is also opening for powerhouse Taylor Swift’s Reputation Tour.
The Cuban born singer/songwriter released her debut solo album, CAMILA in January 2018 to rave reviews. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart at the same time as her hit triple platinum certified single “Havana” reached #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, making Camila the first artist in 15 years to hold the #1 spot on both the Hot 100 and Top 200 charts simultaneously.
Cabello was spotted all bundled up leaving LAX the other day; assuredly a warm Vancouver welcome awaits.
