Canadian (former) rock and (later) blues guitarist Colin James is hitting the western Canadian ‘Open Road’ in support of his 20th studio album, aptly named ‘Open Road’. The album was released in 2021 but Colin and his band are finally able to tour this year as Covid restrictions eased this summer.

Colin has also just completed a supporting tour opening for the great Buddy Guy this past spring across the US and several summer festivals and shows in eastern Canada with the Colin James Trio.

‘Open Road’ has garnered James his 19th Juno nomination and eighth win for Blues album of the year. The third album of a blues trilogy, the struggles of a Covid-induced standstill explode into movement and freedom, on the open road. Come along for the ride and feel the wind in your face!
