Country star Aaron Pritchett (who’s up for a few CCMA’s again this year) is taking his beloved ‘Gertie’ on a 1665 km road trip! Why the VW Bus? To tie in with his current single, VW Bus inspired by his vintage 1973 Volkswagen bus of course!
Heading out from his home in Gabriola Island, Pritchett and long time girlfriend Jessie will be heading to the CCMA’s in Saskatoon in their vintage orange VW Bus, Gertie, with stops along the way. Pritchett and Jessie leave Gabriola on Sept 2 with stops at JRFM Radio in Vancouver, then off to visit Country 107.1 in Abbotsford, and rounding off the day with a drive up the Coquihalla to Kelowna to perform at the Sound Lounge event with New Country 100.7 Kelowna and fans.
That’s just day one! From there, Pritchett, Jessie and ‘Gertie’ head to Lethbridge Albert for a Sept 4 show at Average Joe’s, Regina Sept 6 at Casino Regina, and Sept 7 at Prince Albert, SK with the final stop being the CCMA’s in Saskatoon! Pritchett is up for Male Artist of the Year as well as Video of the Year (When a Momma’s Boy Meets a Daddy’s Girl – directed by Cole Northey – son of Craig Northey of The Odds)
