Succor band /suh-kr/ , meaning: assistance and support in times of hardship and distress, came on to our radar just recently through a rabbit hole on Instagram, and their sound was immediately catchy and pleasing to the ears. Based out of Franklin, Tennessee, this young, ambitious 6-7 piece band are full of life and excited to be debuting their first single, Bail Out.
Like many bands shaped by Radiohead’s early-2000s era, this track isn’t interested in spelling everything out. ‘Bail Out’ arrives less as a narrative and more as a surge. With vocals delivered in a way that prioritizes tone and restraint over clarity, the lyrics serve as an additional blended layer of texture, adding to the overall atmosphere of the music.
