The Tea Party need no introduction! Well, okay maybe they do 🙂 A much loved Canadian band in the 90’s the band took a nearly 10 yr hiatus, and recently reformed to get back into the studio and back on the road, much to the ecstatic pleasure of their still loyal, still large fan base — which now extends to Australia as well. Singer Jeff Martin (who many have said has that ‘Jim Morrison thing going on’) ended up in Australia while on the band’s departure from each other, and is now a full time resident – spreading that Tea Party goodness around.
The Tea Party’s new album Edges of Twilight is a cool mix of older hits, B-sides and demos that sound as good as (or better than) the radio versions. We reviewed the album HERE, and recently saw the band live (only for the second time in 10 yrs!) and gave you our feeling on that HERE. The show was so good we of course needed a keepsake! (see photo image) and Sister Awake seemed like a great choice for slogan (the tee says ‘awake’ on the reverse).
