What’s Fair is Fair new TREWS!

Forget the sugary saccharine flavor of the typical love song – the new Trews song, What’s Fair is Fair, is a fiery song of lost love that most can relate to. Passionate and genuine, the song speaks of betrayal and heart ache on a kick in the gut level.

“it’s not alright, but you know, but you don’t care.. its not alright.. its just not fair, its just not fair.”

Unlike most love songs this one doesn’t have a happy resolution, and that’s what makes it even more powerful. Angst has been a long time missing in music.. The Trews bring it back without it being oppressive. Love that this is typical guitar heavy Trews with catchy riff and sparkling vocals. If it’s any indication of the rest of the album, it’s going to be killer.

What’s Fair is Fair is the first single off The Trews new self titled album due out April 22, and is produced by Gavin Brown (Billy Talent, Metric, Tragically Hip) and Trews guitarist John-Angus (The Trews, Glorious Sons), and hits radio today. A tour is being planned starting in May. Fans of The Trews still have time to hit up the band’s Pledge Music Campaign and grab a Sound Check/Meet and Greet in select cities.
