Tears for Fears has new music! “OMG really?” was the first thought in my head – followed by the thought of “will it be good? what do they sound like now?”
Its good! And they sound fresh, and current, and up to date with the world – the Tears for Fears that you remember them to be. Orzabal and Smith may look a little older, but they sound fantastic and the song’s lyrics have something to say. And we love it.

Tipping Point is the first single off the band’s upcoming new album of the same name, due out Feb. 2022, according to the band’s Youtube. Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith have collaborated together previously (after the band’s break up in the 1990’s), but this is genuinely the first Tears for Fears new music in quite some time. So far only one tour date in 2022, but who knows, maybe more added. You can check out the band’s website and sign up for their newsletter to keep up to date.
