Papa Roach just released a new single that’s taking the internet by storm, both for its beauty and for its power – Leave a Light On is a frank song about suicide and prevention and the importance of being there for each other. It’s also doing a world of good for funding outreach programs. From Papa Roach‘s Youtube write up:
Papa Roach – Leave A Light On (Talk Away The Dark), Benefitting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The band’s royalties on this song are being donated directly to the AFSP, in perpetuity. Every time the song is streamed, downloaded, or used in any way a donation is being made. The band’s initial donation to the AFSP of $155,000 was presented at their final show in Denver, Colorado.
